Into My Blessed Life: October 2013

Bali is an amazing place. It has various types of scenery.
Hot weather : beach, rural place, shopping street, paddy field;
Cold weather: mountains, volcano, lake on the hill.

This is our trip itinerary for 8 persons to Bali from 21 October to 24 October 2013.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1
Depart from Penang airport to LCCT, spent whole morning at airport. Our flight to Bali is 3.40pm. It takes about 3 hours to fly from Malaysia to Bali. Once we reached Bali, we took Taxi for Rp 100,000 to our hotel. First night we stay at Dream @Jimbaran hotel which is a nice hotel but bad location. Luckily we able to borrow a motor from the staff to go out to buy our dinner - nasi goreng, sate and terang bulan.

Day 2
We rent a mini bus which cost about Rp 600,000 (Rm200) each day, it is available for 12person. Since first night we stay at Jimbaran so we visit Uluwatu and Nusa Dua which located at the South of Bali. Uluwatu is a very nice cliff where you can see how amazing God create the beauty of nature. Nusa Dua is a beach where has many water sport activities. Next we went to Bedugul to have our lunch then went to Ulun Danu lake Beratan which located at hill, the weather is very nice, breeza cold air. It is a great place to visit. After that we visited Taman Ayun which is a pura(temple) with nice design. Last but not least, we went to Tanah Lot the see the sunset. We spent our night at Villa Jineng, Seminyak. It is a very nice villa, we get 50% discount when we book it using Groupon, so a villa with 2rooms with private pool only about RM500 (normal price is RM1000++).
Summary : Jimbaran - Uluwatu - Nusa Dua - Bedugul Ulun Danu Lake - Taman Ayun - Tanah Lot Sunset -Seminyak.

Day 3
Before this we planned to see the Barong Dance at Ubud, but we decided to change our plan to spent more time in the villa for swimming and jacuzzi, and the service was very good, they sent to room our breakfast. So we departed at 11am. We went to a batik shop to buy some 'oleh-oleh' (souvenir) then next the tour guide got suggest us to visit the factory that make steel and Goa Gajah but we don't want. At first we planned to have lunch at Bebek Denggil but din open, so we directly went for our lunch at Bebek Tepi Sawah (crispy duck). It is quite expensive but the environment is special, there is a paddy field inside the restaurant. After lunch we went to a temple name Tirta Empul, it is interesting place because many people taking bath in the spring water temple. Need to be careful the sale man in the souvenir shop because they are very aggressive. Next we went to Coffee Garden to try the Kopi Luwak, they give us many free drinks like coffee bali, coffee coconut, mangosteen juice and so on, then we order 4cups of coffee Luwak (1cup Rp30,000). Next we went to Kintamani Volcano, the weather is nice and the scenery is take breathing. Last but not least we went to see Rice Terrance Tegalalang. Then we back to Denpasar and shopping at Krisna, there has many cheap souvenir and shirts. After that, we back to our hotel near Kuta - Everyday Hotel. It is small but good location.

Day 4
Two of our friends had departed back to Malaysia, so we rent another car (toyota Avanza) for Rp400,000. Morning 9am we went to Kuta Beach for surfing Rp500,000 for 4person for 1 hour. Then we back to hotel to take our bath before check out. At 11am we check out and have lunch near Kuta Street. After lunch we shopping near Kuta Street. Then we went to massage, Rp 130,000 for 2hours full body massage. About 5pm we went to Hawaii Bali to have our dinner and but souvenir, because it is located on the way to aiport. Remember to prepare Rp150,000 for tax in airport Bali. In the airport also has many shops for shopping.
